Schools

Introduction

The schools API helps link students to a specific school object in the database. This makes it easier to track who is from what school, and to draw statistics from this information. All teachers also get linked to a school object.

Students see schools in the form of the leaderboard, which counts points per school per month. School Admins can add schools, edit information about schools (e.g. last presentation), and see some basic stats.

Emails

• New seminar request
  • Runs after a teacher fills out the seminar form on the main website
  • Email sent out to School Admins
  • Includes information about the school, when they would like the seminar, and their contact details
